Don't get married, just have a lot of sex.
Me and my boyfriend do just that. We're dating and in love, have crazy sex, but we will never get married because right now he would need parental permission.
Once he's 16 (11 more months!) we're planning on running off together and living in a big house with lots of beds ;) ;) ;)
Doesn't that sound much nicer than stuffy old marriage?????

No it doesn't, marriage is a great thing if taken seriously and if both partners work on it. You are only 15, I wouldn't be worrying about marriage just yet and you make think running away and living a big house with lots of beds is cool. but it will never end up that way. You are best just to stay at home, go to school, graduate, go to college, and then by then you should be old enough/mature enough to make a big decision like marriage.

Sounds like a fantasy world . Sex brings kids, Big house with lots of beds brings lots of bills & then you know you got to get that job & then there is no time for sex all day long. Wow sounds like marriage without the papers. So wake up sweetie!

1. Your statistics are either wrong, or you're lying.
2. You said you'll 'never' get married because he needs parental permission NOW. That makes no sense, you could just wait.
3. Who's going to pay for this big house with all the beds?

I am married and have lots of sex, I also have the protections and rights of marriage and all of the benefits that go along with it.
Your boyfriend is far too young to consider marriage and by the way check your statistics because you are completely, udderly, ridiculously wrong if you think 97.874% of marriages end in divorce.

I think you are basing some very adult decisions on faulty statistics and not logic or emotion. I am glad you and your boyfriend are happy and enjoying life and each other. However, I don't know that getting married, or not getting married and running off together are good ideas for a 16 year old.

You're relationship has 1 chance in a 1,000,000 of making it past the first year. Sex without permanent commitment (read that marriage) is a joke. Read these posts here and you'll see how much of a joke. I pity the poor children born in these relationships. They are the BIG LOSERS.

I would try to prove those statistics wrong. The problem with people today is that they make rash decisions to get married to the first person that they fall in love with, and then when things dont go the eay that they planend or want, they give up.

Sure it does until you have children.
What about if you two earn a lot of money etc. and one dies-guess who gets it-usually family.
There is a lot to be said in favor of two people not getting married but they are usually a wee bit older then you- LIKE 21+ and their brain cells are located a bit higher then your also.

Yes, and then you get bored or he gets bored and then you have kids and bills and life happens and you fight and he gets strung out on crank, crack or meth because he ran off with you when he was sixteen, he gets arrested, you turn tricks to pay for baby Britney's medication because she has deformities due to addicted parents, you get a bunch of STD's, your pimp beats you, your b/f gets out of jail and you have sex- it is not great because he can barely get it up- you give him herpes he gives you HIV(from his prison lover) you fight and then child services takes Britney away Yeah that is better than marriage
