Try www.ebags.com also Kate Spade has some great messenger type bags that work well for college textbooks and things.

You'll look cool enough carrying medical textbooks in even supermarket carrier bags!

I bought a Jansport day pack (dark green with a brown suede base) 20 years ago and it is still serving me well. I think it looks cool on people of all ages. It just never looks dated. Get a good quality one (like Jansport), even if it is slightly more expensive because the stitching of the seams of the cheaper ones are not strong enough to take the weight of your medical textbooks.

For me, what you use to carry your books is not important. It's what is carried in your head and your heart that matters most. Work hard and develop a love for modern medical knowledge and a respect for your future patients. You'll always look cool in the eyes of people whose lives you save.

Depends on taste I suppose.
I used to use a big purple shoulder bag in uni days, but the bottom of it gave out. Too many beers in the attachment bit,
I suppose.
A huge canvas haversack proved more reliable, and all the A4 documentas fit. ( Oh well, it was a physics degree, and we never really got the hang of Latin.)
You don't want to be seen to be too "nurdy" with breifcases, etc.
Always use something "different" is the best bet. you might start a bit of a trend.
All the best,
Bob

go to H&M and see what they have, it's a trendy place and not too expensive. Have a look on ebay too, they might have something unusual and individual. ASOS might do some cool ones and also check Top Shop for some cheap shoulder bags.

I'm still carrying an old school red jansport. I think those are so cool and original. I have a pink one too. Two pockets is all you need.

I've had that bookbag since my freshman year in high school

h&m do a nice sort of tote bag which is deep enough to carry a lever-arch and the straps go straight down the bag, very strong. normally my straps break from so much weight, but this one is holding together quite well. i bought mine in black with grey stars, quite cute in a gothic way. lol.

Assuming your a female student anything made of natural materials or preferrable handmade, eg knitted or crochet with a few sequins/jewels stitched in for effect.
