Usually. Especially when you treat people poorly. The old adage of not burning bridges is so true. I have ran into some of the very same people before at new jobs that I have worked with in the past. It was nice to see them, but it would have been terrible for me if I was a jerk at the other company.

For some reason, anyone's past is always wearing better running shoes than any other moment in time.... it will catch up no matter how far behind it may seem to be.

Depends on what's in your past. If you have a criminal record, it's always with you. If you did stupid things and continue to do them, you're just repeating the past. If you made mistakes, changed your ways and have moved on, then no. If you're dishonest and must always lie to cover your past, eventually you'll slip.

Your past will only catch up with you if you're trying to run from it.

Oh yes unfortunately it does!

I once slept with a guy who had a girlfriend! i knew about the girlfriend but being in my very drunken state i didn't seem to care!
A couple of weeks later a new girl started at my work! i dint think anything of it until, i meet her boyfriend! who should it be but the drunken night guy!
To make matters worse i had become very good friends with the girlfriend and told her about that night luckily not using any names! and the fact i work with her mother as well doesn't help anything!

So yeah i think it catches up with you!

Yes, but usually I shut it out by doing something good, by thinking of the futur, what I want to achieve in life. I`m always doing things which will bring me forward not backward.
Whenever I think about my past [not a good one]I said to myself no, think positive, think about today, and your futur.

If you think about the past you`ll always go backward and it will ruin your hapiness and your life

Always pray to God to help you to forget the past and to help you to live a better life, to achieve your goals.
That what i always do. I pray and it works.

what`s important is what you`re doing today, and what you jntent to do in futur, not the past. The past should be shut out.

Yes it does, and usually it has a personal vendetta with your present. And the only way to solve it is to have your world come crashing down on your head.
