If he is dead, why will the USA hide it? I think Bush would be immensely popular once his demise or capture is made known.

So does it matter if he is hiding in caves and treacherous terrains? What about so many soldiers the USA lost in the war and bodybags still counting? Why can not USA launch a final assault?

b'coz Bush is all talk and no action! all he does is get a couple of testimonials of 9/11 survivers every anniversary and puts them up publicly.
the President of America is considered to be one of the most powerful man in the world! His every speech contains "we will not take terrorism lightly" but what has he really been able to do?
madrasas in Pakistan and other Asian countries are the main place from where terrorists originate. Bush has not even been able to curb these yet!
perhaps if the US soldiers focused more attention on their duties rather than sodomising prisoners in Iraq they would be a tad more effective.

The answer lies in your Q. It is not Bush deciding the fate of US. The neocons are waiting for the next 9/11 to fool the world for another decade. OBL is dead and is no more. Everyone knows that. Only his ghost is alive.

Because he is well -protected by pakistan with the US funds . no other country has the guts to given safe haven to Osama . Osam himslef has once said that Pakistan is the sacred country for Muslims. Because the US will not suspect Pakistan as long as it is pretending to be a front- line state in the fight against terrorism , there is absolutely no danger for Osama so long as he is in Pakistan. The US may not be able to capture Osama as long as Pakistan is determined to protect him and the US might live in constant fear of this terrorist and and his successors in Pakistan even after his natural death.

Um because he is CIA operative and is hiding under government protection? Because everything you think is true is a lie? Because we live in of the most evil brutal money hungery war mongering countries of all time? Answer to your second question is that is he were dead, what would he hold over people to make them afraid? He needs the myth of Bin Laden and Al Quaida to trot out every for months for a show to keep people in line.

Who says we are looking for him? I like it a whole lot better with him having to hide like a weasel in caves affraid of his own shadow. If that won't kill a person nothing will.
Besides, what happens if we find him? he is to much of a coward to kill himself. He talks other weak minded fools into doing his dirty work. If he was such a man he would have been flying one of those airplanes on 9/11 instead of hiding in a hole in the ground like Saddam was when he was found.
Nope I like it just like it is, with Osama wetting himself every time a mouse farts in his cell carved out of rock.

Pakistan is sheltering him and at the same time telling the world, especially USA that it is fighting against terror.
(Pakistan is the head quarters of terrorist-training in the world)
By keeping O-B-Laden (secretly)safe in Pakistan, it can continue to milk USA for funds and other assistance to fight terror.

Actually Jose is correct... nobody is looking. The CIA disbanded its unit looking for Bin Laden in Decemeber 2005.
There is only one logical reason the CIA would stop looking for the world's most wanted criminal mastermind.... the dude is dead. I'm Sure that Satan has something special for OBL.

I am a former Army Ranger ,and i have many friends who were special forces operatives.I would like nothing more than collecting the 25 million for that scumbags head.To simply put it,it would be a logistical nightmare.
