I lost my mucus plug with my last pregnancy a little at a time. It kinda looked like I blew my nose in my panties sometimes tinged with blood and sometimes not.

Usually doing a fetal heart monitor is enough to determine whether something is really wrong. If they did one and the baby's heart rate was ok and didnt seem distressed, prob safe to say that everything is ok. If you are really concerned, I would set up another appointment with your doctor. Explain your fears and ask what other tests if any can be done to make sure everything is ok? Your doc is prob used to the fears of pregnant woman and should be able to calm them for you. You can always request to have an ultrasound done at anytime but your insurance will not cover it if it wasnt requested by your doctor.

Take Care and I hope this helped even if just a little.

sure! i all started doing that to boot; whether, it substitute right into a feeling of slowly peeing on myself. I used a popular pad till I went into the well-being middle. as much as now as "stressful an examination," you could "call for" all you decide directly to; whether, docs are unlike they use to be. in case you question something approximately what they do, or the determination they made, or the meds they provide you . . . you ask too many questions and get a sprint bossy, till now long you will get a letter contained in the mail from that primary practitioner retaining he will no longer be waiting to make certain you as you disagree along with his diagnoses. he will stay your checklist for 30 days and via that factor, he/she would have the ability to strongly advise you come across yet another primary practitioner till now that 30-day-term runs out. docs at present %. and choose hon. i've got worked with too a lot of them and that they nevertheless have that God complicated and in the event that they don't have that, they do have the project of being very narcicistic and of their very own minds, by no potential incorrect. as much as now as your drainage; optimistically, you will no longer lose all of it till now you provide delivery. They call it a dry delivery and may be somewhat extra painful while you're having a vaginal delivery; whether, you in all probability won't even notice. Congratulations and would you reside blessed with sturdy well-being and have a healthy, chuffed, fat-confronted toddler.

The mucous plug looks like blood tinged snot. It's gross, but that's true. Losing your plug doesn't mean impending labor either, so dont worry.
