Since all the violence committed in Iraq is largely sectarian, Sunni vs. Shiite, and based upon the proposition that the hostilities occur because of purported corruption in the police and military (Shiite), wouldn't it make better sense to replace the police and military with non-Muslims?

I think maybe we shuld have sent food instead of bombs in the first place. Maybe start a new religeon that would let people still belong whatever other religeons they wanted too. Have a large part of the service consist of a very large and vary buffett with all sorts of great food. Feed people so they won't even think about fighting anyone. It could work maybe.

The problem is that we have no business telling Iraq how to run their country. We don't live by their beliefs and it's wrong of us to try to get them to act like we do. We will never subdue the violence in Iraq. Those people have been fighting since the beginning of time and will keep doing so until God comes. There is nothing that our country can do for those people. We are too americanized for them to accept us. They are fighting each other just like the people in our country and every other country. There is no sollution to ending violence so long as you have hard headed people who think that violence is a solution. That includes war.

The way to subdue the violence in Iraq is to bring are troop's home, because there war is a civil war over religion and there is no way we can do a thing about that, this has gone on forever in that part of the world and I don't remember the U.S getting invalided.so it is to bad that Bush doesn't understand that and go away, and let are people come home..
It would to be better to leave the people in Iraq make there own derision's.

You appear to know little about Muslims. They will not consent to "infidel" authority, indeed they will not even accept muslim rule unless it's the same sect or "denomination" if you will, as themselves. They are enjoying the so called war, it gives them an outlet for their terribly repressed sexuality and legitimizes their love of personal slaughter. We should never make the mistake of believing others think as we do. Anyone who's tried debating with an Arab will tell you don't bother, it's an almost comical waste of time.
