My cat keeps biting and scratching but I dont mind really because he doesnt do it that much. But sometimes he gets carried way and really cuts up my arms. Sometimes it can seem like I'm selfharming and I get very funny looks. Do you have any suggestions like creams or foods that I can eat that restores the healthiness of skin. Or how to get rid of scars that have been left after the cuts have healed? Plaese help.

Savlon cream would be good, it's an antiseptic aswell. Sudo cream is good, it can be used for a variety of things from nappy rash to sunburn.

Use Sudacrem, its not only for nappy rash, it can be used for eczema, bed sores, spots, scratches and so on. It is an antiseptic healing cream, that will reduce the redness and heal at the same time.

I use this cream all the time, and my motto is "If its good enough for a baby's bum, then its good enough for me" lol.

Good thing is too, its cheap and lasts for months and months.

Try it, you wont be sorry.

Then, should you have scars, invest in a bottle of Bio Oil, this oil is fantastic, really does reduce the appearance of scars.

Vitamin C serum might help. Or an expensive cream marketed for the removal of stretch marks ...such as Strivectin. Although it is expensive, it would last you a very long time.
I know how you feel because my right forearm has tiny little scars on it, but I only try to treat the ones on my face and they are very rare. I have had a lot of kittens and once got in the middle of a cat fight too ...
Can't help but love them all, though!

VitaminE applied to the skin is healing. A good quality lavender oil is healing as well as antiseptic. The lavender oil should say that it can be applied to the skin and should be pure...so look at what the bottle says.Mederma skin cream for scars is great and can be purchased at Walmart, but you need an antiseptic product like the lavender oil....as always....consult your physician....and Take Care...Hugs:)

when my cat used to scratch me i used to cool the area with an ice cube and then apply Aloe Vera gel as it has natural healing properties. When the skin is healed use Bio Oil as it helps to heal the scars and it does work all the items suggested are available at chemists hope that helps

I have a tube of Germolene in the medicine closet. It seems to be very good for minor cuts and scratches. I have recently bought a bottle of Bio oil at the local shop. It is made in Russia and claims to be good for marks and scars. I think it seems to improve skin texture lilke Vitamin E oils. Maybe it is effective for minor scars.

I used to get bitten by my cat when he was in a playful mood. He died three years ago and how I miss being scratched and bitten by a cat!

I take my cat to get her claws clipped, then we can play. Dont let her cut you!

Any lotion that contains allantoin speeds up the healing process. Bio-oil is good for scars.

Aloe helps some...it helps keep the cut moisturized. Neosporin will also moisturize the cut and clean it. My cat also enjoys the "scratch and bite" game...I use an old pair of socks to cover my hands and arms...many less scratches that way. Good Luck!
