It was pretty cool, but alittle pricey. But hey, it's not like you do that sort of thing all the time. (I went a few years back, so I have not done the borg one.)

The ride itself is broken into four main elements. The introduction, the bridge, the turbolift, and the shuttle ride.

The intro is cool... they have you "lined up" to enter the ride. You are watching a video about safety... not recommended for people with motion sickness, pregnant women, yada yada yada... The next thing you know you are "beamed" into a transporter room. It's a cool effect, all things considered, one minute you are following a yellow line, after a few seconds of darkness, you are standing on a transporter pad. I saw a tv special once on how they did it, but it was still pretty neat.

Then they walk you to the bridge, it's a scale replica of the same set on the show. AWESOME! It's like you are right there on the set!

The bridge set is used to descibe that you've been transported to the 24th century and one of the poeple in the group must be an ancestor of Picard, because as soon as we arrived, he dissappeared. So it's off to the shuttle bay to go on a little trip back through the time portal...

The rouge klingons behind this madness "attack" the Enterprise while your group is in the turbolift and it's a "bumpy ride" to the shuttle bay.

Into the shuttle, which is motion simulator ride, but's it's neat. A little space battle and into the time portal... then it's a trip back to our time and a flight down the Las Vegas strip... BANG!... what's that? A Klingon ship has followed us through the portal... the chase ensues around just about every major Strip landmark... well... you get the idea.

The trek museum, the promenade, are all pretty cool too! You do not have to pay to get into the promenade.

My wife does not like Star Trek at all. But she even said, it was all pretty cool stuff!

If you like Trek and get the chance, you definitely need to go!
