My partner and I have been together for 3 and a half years and lived together for almost 3 years. We manage about once a day on a good week or every second day when we're not as keen on each other. Going without sex for extended periods for us is symptomatic that there is a problem in our relationship.
Of course the relationship ebbs and flows. Some months we get on well with each other and the sex is fantastic. Other months, we just don't click which naturally affects our sex life.
If you love someone and you live with them, the familiarity may take you to a new place in terms of sex. Suddenly it's no longer a question of where you do it but why you do it.

Unfortunately not as much as I would like to. We have a 2 yr old son and that's not the problem. My boyfriend has gained weight since we started dating 3 yrs ago (even my pregnancy weight, I lost 35 lbs he gained 25) and because of it he doesn't want to have sex so no it is not what I thought it would be...
I didn't think it would be an everyday thing which would be a little much for me anyways but I didn't think I would go months without anything...

the old saying goes put a paper clip in a big jar everytime you have sex before marriage. After marriage take a paper clip out of the same jar. The jar will never empty itself in your lifetime!! LOL in all seriousness if this is a big issue for you talk to your partner about it. Things do seem to cool off a bit as time goes on though

Minimum 3 times a week, usually more. Most sex we have had since we have lived together... 7 times in one day, when he turned 35. No, i dont think living with some one takes away from ones sex life. Reality, moving in with my partner has only improved our sexual relationship.

I've been married for over 10 years and the sex has gotten better and better over the years. The old addage that marriage ruins a sex life is incorrect. Children ruin a sex life.

Honestly. Not that often.
We never retire to bed at the same time.
We have an adult child still living at home so spontaneity is out the window.
We share our bed with the dog & she is very jealous if I touch him.
Sometimes it really isn't worth the hassle any more.

The best sex always seems to be when you can't readily have it...like when you miss a person or when you have to be creative and find a place/time to have sex. Married sex can become redundant and the people begin to take each other for granted.

Very happily married for 27 years. Sex at least 4 times a week. If you love someone, you NEVER tire of them.

For awhile it was a low enough number that I won't even mention it. But now, it's totally reversed.....Any time I want it, she doesn't say no. It could be 2, 3, or 10 times a week. It's f*ucking amazing. Don't know what's come over her, but I'm sure as hell not going to complain.
