Hello you.

I am a woman of 27 yrs,i always feel fat and ugly juring and before a period.Depression is something i have felt over the year and other women feel it too. What you need to do id go for a massage, and start a coffe morning at your house..invite women..and get some social outings going. You also need to keep a diary and at the end of each day write down the what triggered you off that day,i find a walk often helps.Tell your partner how you feel and perhaps you can come up with a silly thing to do for you both ..like going to play a game of "paintball".Please do not go down the "prozac" route..do visit a natural herbal health shop and look at Johns Wort..and see if any chnages to your diet can be made to improve your mood.I also use "Bach Flower Remedy"..please try it when you feel this feeling peeking...do things that you enjoy..oh..and one last thing..masterbation works well juring period time to release a bit of tension.I know you may think i am mad..but try it!!

from Devon..good night my friend.

Ah keep your chin up sweetie for starters get yourself down the Dr's and ask to have the pill injection they usually stop your periods. Then think to yourself how many people in the world don't have a roof over their head or they are starving. There are other people who are terminally ill and know they are going to die but they keep positive and smiling to the end, so sweetie does your life look quite so bad after all I hope not. Be positive

Hi sweetie...
first of all, if you really suffer from depression you should really look for counselling...otherwise you'll keep on seeing your life as miserable, no matter what you have achieved...
I suffer from depression too and my boyfriend left me because he couldn't stand my awful mood and my continuous complainants (yes, also the ones about my periods...).
Now I wish I had smiled more and complained less, but it's too late...Please honey, don't make the same mistake...
A big hug...

Nothing wrong with being fat. At least we've got boyfriends. When you gonna learn that is what guys like. but what they dont like is women going on and on and on about themselves and what they think they look like, nothing is more off putting for a man, the whole thing bores them. Do more exercise and it will eventually cheer u up.

yes--please see my best answers regarding stress reduction, reiki, "energy work" and meditation for techniques on changing your attitudes and "general unhappiness". it's all about "energy work" and the difference it can make. if that's inconvenient, please check out and work with the techniques, etc. at http://www.sahajayoga.com and read: *the complete idiot's guide to toltec wisdom*--it explains how your mind will drive you crazy unless you deal with it properly; and gives meditations, etc. to help. if, like 97% of the human race you just let things take their own course, you will remain as confused, fearful, drama prone and unhappy as they. that doesn't have to be the case! ;-)

I wish I had something wonderful to tell you, but alas; I don't. Just do your best to enjoy life. Periods and all. Hope it gets better for you. Sincerely, M
