wow, i bet you didnt expect those answers.
the car of tommorrow will be the death of NASCAR. it just takes more of the competition out of nascar, and turns it into an iroc series. i dont watch iroc now and i wont watch nascar if it gets like iroc. it is also gonna hurt the quality of our own vehicles. the manufacturers spend alot of time and money researching ways to make their production vehicles better so that their NASCAR vehicles can get an advantage that in turn gets them more sales. the COT destroys the comeptition of manufacturers. the only thing different about the cars of tommorrow will be the drive train. if you cant look at a car and say "thats a ford" or chevy or whatever, then whats the point of the manufacturers even being involved.

What a bunch of idiots. Do they know nothing about NASCAR?

Anyways - I am against it. Ithink it will make all the cars the same, and there will be no advantage to make your car better. It will switch more focus to driver ability, but they are all great drivers so that is a moot point. I think it will degrade the sport for sure. They say it is about safety. No driver has been killed or even serioulsy injured in the Cup Series since the late great Dale Sr. At that point they developed the HANS system, and it has made a huge difference in safety. Leave the car alone !!

GO JUNIOR !!

The car of tomorrow is a technical possibility right now. It has been for some years. It will be a fuel-cell car that uses hydrogen (or a chemical that contains hydrogen) to produce electricity by a process using a proton interchange membrane. It has a low or nil impact on environment (which means that it doesn´t pollute). However, the difficulty lies in recycling all the gas stations to Hydrogen stations (or a chemical that contains hydrogen). Most of insfrastructure change is going to be very costly, that´s why the oil companies and the state owned companies around the world force this new technology into a low profile while saying that they lead investigation teams in finding new technologies. There´s still money to be made in oil and nothing will change until every drop of oil will have been extracted.-

Stupids. We're talking about the new car of tomorrow coming into Nascar Cup racing. The front end looks stupid and I hate the rear wing. Other than that, it's not too different. It appears to have more parts than can be knocked off or broken easier than the current cars have.

There are people who are looking forward to Hydrogen Fuel cell cars. They are at least a decade away. BMW expects only 2%of cars sold in 2025 Germany to be Hydrogen fuel cell based. Also, the cost of generating hydrogen fuel cell is very high and requires enormous amount of energy - which comes from fossil fuels.

Gasoline will be there as it has been the past 100 years, but its a vicious circle. Canada has 170 billion barrels, but the cost of extraction is viable only if gas price is over $40 a barrel.

I wish they work on electric cars better. The price different between the gas and hybrid versions runs in to thousands and is not viable for moderate users. But batteries don't rely on fossil fuels.

I hope it makes the racing better. The cars sure look weird with that wing and the splitter up front. It's going to be hard to get used to looking at it for sure. Some of the best racing is in the truck series. If they could get the cars more aerodynamically like the trucks, it would be cool. I think that's where they are trying to get the COT.

Amphibious or may be even road going Formula one car.
You may even fly to your work place or may even park it straight in your chamber due to parking problems.
Or it may even happen like this, your car may drive you to a place you say.

Just kidding, actually the future cars are more safety oriented and give you better ride. May be more environment friendly and pedestrian friendly by sixth sense braking.

i don't know what to think about it. i havent' really seen it in racing action yet. i am worried that it will take away from the sport, but i'm also interested to see if it really goes back to putting driver against driver instead of wallet against wallet. there should still be a lot that each team can do to advance their car a bit more..so we shall see.

They need to accelerate the production of full size cars that run on affordable and domestically produced fuel as soon as possible.
All our gas money is funding the middle east!
