Not sure if this is the right area to post this? I want to find out the age of the flat I'm living in and if possible, what was on this land going back a few hundred years. Is there anywhere online I can search for this info, preferably for free? Thanks for any help you can give.

You're more likely to find stuff in the library or Public Records office than online.

You could have a look on www.ourproperty.co.uk which will help with how much your property has sold for overthe years, using this you could then see what the original buying price was and therefore when it was built, as to what was on the land originally I am not much help I am afraid, Land registry??
