i'd have 2 say city of angels or moulin rouge. i never cried at other love movies but these two.
and in a more twisted way, crash... i loved the whole concept behind it, how we crash into each other just to remember how it feels 2 feel.
i cried when the little girl jumps into her father's arms just as he's being shot and when matt dillon saves thandie newton out of a burning car

Indochine. If you can get past the subtitles (it is in French) You will fall in love with this movie! I cried at least 6 times in six different places in the film. I actually went to my local video store and paid top dollar for a very old very used copy of this film just to be able to own it for myself so I could watch it anytime I wanted. It is starring Catherine Deneuve and it takes clace in Indo China durning the end of the French occupation. It is absolutely stunning.

That or De Lovely. When Linda died... OH MY GOD I thought I would too. Check out the scene when he was playing her "So in love." at the piano. OMG!

The Notebook was great too.

and who caould ever forget the classic 1969 version of Romeo and Juliet? Were they not two of the most beautiful young people ever? You found yourself actually wanting to believe it was real.

ANother great old love story IS love story and my last pick would have to be a hard to find movie (only used on E-bay) called "Stealing Heaven." Is was the first motion picture that showed full frontal nudity and an actual act of sex that was not considered porn. It is the story of Helouise and Abelard the famous French Lovers.

**** WOW, someone was actually, not only able to make it through Phantom of the Oprera (the movie) without wanting to gouge their eyes out of their heads, but they picked it is as their favorite? HOLY CRAP! The play is far superior to the movie!
