If you are a sports fan you HAVE to go. I went last year in October, saw a Penguins game on Saturday night and a Steelers game on Sunday. I stayed across the river on Station Square Drive which is essentially hotels, restuarants and bars and had an outrageous time! You can take a ferry across the river to a game. Tailgating is phenominal. It was one of the most outstanding weekends I've ever had. Pittsburgh sports fans rock.

Very scenic. George Westinghouse (scientist) was from there. Go to wikipedia and you will see lots of things about it nobody is aware of, like all the Colleges and Universities and famous people from there. Arguably the prettiest Baseball stadium in the U.S.
