My employer (small hotel) has changed the women's work uniform to include a top with a large white bow tie with a high collar. Is this a new fashion trend? Seems retro, I've been researching trying to find it elsewhere.

It's definitely retro. I don't even have any of those left in my closet & I found them to be very uncomfortable the first time around. If I were you, I'd go back to my employer & let him/her/them know of the difficulty of obtaining such a uniform. Ask if they have a supplier or a vendor to buy from. If not, then ask them for suggestions. If you keep them in the loop & they figure out how difficult a task this is, then they might just change the dress policy to something a bit more comfortable & something more easily found.

this received't be a count number of style yet perhaps a count number of modesty. There might want to were comments made about some donning shirts that were too revealing, regarded undesirable, might want to nicely be any possiblity. I hate to interrupt it to you so bluntly, yet when the motel made this decision, the word of one or perhaps all the staff received't substitute. the money has been spent. And it really is a service market, this is about the clients, not the staff... i might want to enable it bypass, honey. Sorry, i recognize this isn't your form and probably makes you sense kinda goofy yet suck it up, placed on it nicely, perhaps placed your hair in a French Twist and pretend you're Audrey Hepburn.

Ha ya I have seen those before

What you can try is too talk with co-workers and put all you're thoughts out to you're boss and tell him how you feel about it that is if they feel the same about it.

If that does not work Find another one with better uniforms.

I hope they change it for ya. Then again it could be worse.

Hotels want to join the chain game of all other hotels...so you might get used to it...cause that's the new trend.
