Because of the BCS some good teams will not be screwed and some sorry teams will go far and lose.

It sucks. It favors some teams and conferences over others. Auburn deserved a shot at the title the other year, for example,.

I hate it. I even wrote to the BCS a few years ago when Auburn got locked out of the Championship game even though they were obviously the more deserving team over Oklahoma and history provided that to be correct. So it is a flawed system. In an ideal world we'd have a tournament. You come out of a 16, 32, or 64 team tournament unbeaten and NO ONE can argue that you're not the best team in the land. Who would've picked Florida to win it all in the NCAA Basketball tourney? Very few people but they proved it where it counted, the court. Baring that they should at least have a +1 system of matching the top 4 teams, at least that way we're a bit more assured we get the true Champion. As it is now it's just a popularity contest.

BCS SUCKS!!!! We need a friggin tournament like NCAA basketball. They could take the top 16 teams and put up a bracket. Other teams around the league could play like a NIT type of tournament, too.

This has been debated since the BS, er BCS was born. Div I-A football needs a playoff!! If they can do it for Div I-AA, II, and III not to mention basketball, why can't they do it for I-A football? Are you telling me that a playoff would be less lucrative than the current setup? I just don't buy that. I think it would be incredibly exciting!

The BCS is a fairly good system that maintains the bowl games.

it is a piece of crap, but if it wasn't for the bcs, what would these tools on sports radio and espn have to complain about all during the season.
