My daughter is in her second pregnancy. She is four months along. Last night while washing her hair she found a rather large area near the part and crown of her head where there was so much waxy oil in it (after washing) it kind of made her feel ill, she is wondering if being pregnant could cause this because she never had this problem before. Didn't know whether to put this in beauty or health so sorry for posting twice. Any advice?

Today she told me that she still can't get rid of it, it is a patch about the size of a plum and it is almost waxy, her husband washed it with dawn dish soap to get rid of it, lol, now she has it in a bun. Thanks for your opinions everyone, the poor girl is wigging out.

During pregnancy you can face all kinds of things that never happened to you...So this can be due to hormonal changes in your body.. But no harm in asking your doctor during your next visit

yes its the pregnancy! I almost lost my full eyesightat pregnancy, was almost legally blind beforehand and the baby stripped the rest away, aftet the baby my vision was back to its self...which isnt anything to brag about!

Hope she can hang in there, tell her to try some salon quality shampoo for oily hair, and also she can use baby powder if she is going somewhere!
