Me and my mom always fight about stupid stuff. I want out of my house and on my own. I already have a place to leave and all that stuff. I live in Tennessee and their are no emanicpation laws in my state. I don't know what else to do. I don't know if I could leave home without her knowning where I was going and not getting into trouble. I have talked to several people about this and no one can give me a straight answer. I was wondering if there was anyway to leave my home without having to go through a foster home or anything like that..NO ABUSE GOING ON!!!

Look on your local public government website, like where the Marriage Laws are and stuff. You should be able to find out there.

Why don't you try something different?

Try being a peacemaker and stop fighting. It takes 2 to fight and if you stop, then there will be no more fights. If your mom isn't going to try to be an adult about it, then you be the adult about it. Whatever the situation takes, YOU make the peace. Do whatever or say whatever to stop the fight before it becomes one. If you continue to have problems, go see your school counselor or a pastor at a church. These people can help you without charging you money.

I assume from your comments that you are a minor (under 18). It is a hard world out there for adults, let alone someone who isn't one. There is danger that you haven't dreamed about lurking to get you. Stay at home where your mom can keep you safe until you are the age that you can get a job, pay your bills, etc. You may think you're ready, but you're not. There is a reason that the law doesn't call you an adult yet.
