Lots of people respond w/ seious answers,
But when I ask a serious question only 5 people respond?

Lots of people answer dumb questions because they think you need help but when you ask a serious question they don't want to give the wrong answer so they do not answer if they don't think they have the right one.

I asked a serious question once and got lots of response. I needed to download a sidebar for Yahoo Messenger and someone gave a good answer. Then I asked a question about being a twister or hooker and got like 2 pages of response. Maybe people just thought it was a fun question.

It is easier to answer a dumb question, then it is to answer a serious question. There are more answers for a dumb question then there are for a serious question. And sometimes with me included they misread the question,

Yea I know exactly what you are talking about. I like the funny answers better. Like the guy who said he likes to eat rabbit ears, thats funny.

Well...It could be because they are trying to sound funny in answering your 'dumb' questions or they really can't answer serious questions.

haha, seriously that has happened to me several times today. When you ask a dumb question, people are all righteous and ****, you ask a serious question and everyone is too busy promoting their righteousness!

Same happens to me...I guess people always look for excitement and the less sensible answers are more interesting to them.
I hate it when that happens

It may be dump to you but not to other people or it may not be dumb to you and dumb to other people depending on the question.
