for example i got a new car and she says who cares i dont need a 2006 car i dont brag about what i have so why does she have to be a ***** and give me crap about everything

most likely she's jealous of you and a very unhappy girl for that matter! and if is a friend i say you just ditch her not worth you friendship, or on the other hand keep making her jealous that's what she gets for been such a *****.

i know a girl like that,you got to cut her off cause she's a hater and anything you do while she's around she's gonna discrimate,you don't need someone so negative in your life,tell her to get some therapy and some meds and maybe you can be friends again but until then tell her bye bye

Could be any on a number of reasons. Maybe she wants and can't afford one, so its way easier to just tell herself she doesn't want it. That's probably it. Its like people who are out of shape and aging, insisting that somebody a few pounds overweight is really fat. My landlord makes fun of me for being fat, I think hes just worried about being old and fat himself.
