I think anyone who cares about the US should want to get all the facts from that day. Why is the government not releasing all the information it has - like the Pentagon videos? The people have a right to know.

Election year with Republicans poised to lose big?

The Pentagon videos will not be released in the interest in defending Bush's image.

People are too afraid to admit that their own government would do such a thing, and so it is simply easier to accept the widely accepted theory and move on, rather than draw up memories of painful events from the past. I have never in my life been known to entertain outlandish conspiracy theories, but I started looking into the subject of 9/11, and I found out more and more that the real conspiracy theory is the theory that a group like Al-Qaeda, with what little resources and know-how they had, could pull of an attack of this caliber. That is what is unbelievable. Whether or not you question the events of 9/11, how can we justify the fact that a crime was committed, and never investigated? We have always ASSUMED it was Al-Qaeda, and ASSUMED what the government tells us is true, but we never really investigated the crime. And if you call the 9/11 commission an investigation, I would remind you that they were specifically instructed only to investigate possible failures of the Government and the intelligence communities, not the actual crime itself. Think about it.

Because it has been proven over and over again that it happened exactly as the 9/11 Commission said it did. The 9/11 Commission Report is the definitive authority on what happened.

Many people have also published on the web numerous sites that debunk the myths. You don't need a video when you have all the photographic evidence of aircraft wreckage at the Pentagon.

If you're basing all your questions on a supposed video, then you are straining at gnats to disbelieve the truth.

Did it occur to you that maybe the government doesn't release all the information not because they want to hide, but because if it gets into the enemy's hands they could utilize it to do MORE damage to the USA. The Pentagon is a military institution, do you want anyone, whether its homegrown terrorists or foreign, to be able to analyze it for weakness. And we have a right to know at what cost? Compromising National Security. -Don't think so

You want the facts? Here they are again!!!!

For years Islamic Fascists have been planning an attack on the US for our support of Israel and our presents in Saudi Arabia during the 1st Gulf War. They attacked and attacked during the Clinton Administration and nothing was done about it. They grew confident that this country had lost it's leadership and it did. SO ON SEPT 11, 2001 THEY HIJACKED SEVERAL PLANES AND FLEW THEM INTO THE WTC BUILDINGS AND THE PENTAGON, BRINGING THEM DOWN AND KILLING 3000 PEOPLE. Now, what exactly are you not certain about?

WHo wants to believe their country killed hundreds and wounded thousands of poeple? I was in NY. There will always be consiperacy's, as it is our American right to challenge anything without of fear of incarsaration or harm. But honestly, those who truely believe that the US Government planned or aided the attacks may have some oscrews loose. What is not a consiperacy is that the current administration has not handled many events over the past 5 years efficiently and effectively.

I think EVERYONE should question our government and not be punished for it. The problem today is that not enough people question our government or authority and therefore they are getting away with alot.

I dont believe that our government staged 9/11. Sure, I think there are alot of wackos with dumb theories, but they dont bother me because they are speaking out for what they believe really happened and I dont see anything wrong with that.

Because the so-called facts you use to prop up your flimsy theoroies are wrong, and whenever someone points out that they are wrong, you get all nutty about it.

I watched that Loose Change video several times. Even in that conspiracy theory, there are holes, inaccuracies, and outright misrepresentations.

One example I can think of right now is the so-called Pearl Harbor reference in the PNAC document. That whole paper dealt with modernizing and transforming the military. That particular passage dealt with upgrading the military's IT infrastructure. The paper has nothing to do with what the nutballs say it does.

Like any topic, there's a spectrum from the wacky to the reasonable. Problem is, many conservatives simply are willing to accept the official story even though there are many unaswered questions. By the way, let's not fool ourselves, if the D's were in power, we'd have the same issue only it would be republicans wanting more answers. Heck, look how much we spent to go after Clinton for getting "favors" in the white house.
Others want more answers and still others are looking for stuff that doesn't wash.

The facts have been out since day one... terrorist crashed four commercial airliners in the US and killed thousands... period. If someone doesn't like the "facts" then they form "conspiracies" .... (another fact) . As far as the Pentagon it is a secured national institute, they will probably never release those pictures.... ever hear of National Security.?
