first of all change your settings in internet options:

go to "Tools" menu, click "Internet options", click "Privacy" you'll see a "box" - "Block Pop-ups", tick that box and click apply. Change your settings also to Medium or Medium High and click apply.

Next clean your PC/laptop run your McAfee Anti-Virus or Northon Security software. You can run your scanning by programming it on your preferred time and frequency. Cleaning/scanning your computer on a daily basis is recommended.

Also try to download free cleaning software such as ccleaner, lavasoft.com and spybot search and detroy. run this softwares before you turn-off your computer.

hope this helps!

You have spyware on your computer that is running in the background causing popups to come up. I and many other people could list tons of programs for you to install and run. Instead of guessing what type of bug your infected with, I'll direct you to free expert help. Being an expert myself, I used to help out around this site.

All you have to do is download Hijackthis, run it (takes 30 seconds), and post the log that it gives you. Then a group of computer nerds take a look at it and give you easy advice on how to fix everything.

It might take them a day or two to reply, but it's definitely worth it since they can see and fix every problem. The site is www.geekstogo.com visit this thread for directions on posting a topic for help (skip to step 5 and just download hijackthis) http://www.geekstogo.com/forum/You_Must_Read_This_Before_Posting_A_Hijackthis_Log-t2852.html

First, I use firefox and that seems to block 95% of popup ads.

Second, I also use 2 programs that delete spyware/adware from the computer. Here are the two links.

Ad Aware

Spybot

both are free and this should clean up things. also, always good to run a virus check everyonce in a while too!

Download the 30 trial version of Web Root Spy Sweeper and run a scan. Sounds like spyware or trojan.

Someone that has used that computer has been on porn sites and gotten some spyware or adware installed that is causing the pop ups. It could also be a trojan virus.

This is usually not something that is easily fixed.

You'll need to scan your PC for viruses, spyware, and adware.

You have some spyware or a virus on your system. Get a good defense program such as Norton or McAfee and clean it up.

it means someone on that PC has been doing some one handed surfing. Spyware, adware, and viruses make this happen and they usually come from porno sites or gaming sites.

You have porno spyware because some has used your puter to go to porno websites.
