how bout when you look at someone and their already looking at you but they dont look away, they just continue giving you a dirty look and you kinda stare them down too as in "hey i see you dogging me" but they still keep looking at you to the point where you have to look away and let them fininsh...and im not talking about pple you have problems w. doing this to you, im talking about someone your hanging out w. like say you, your friend and your friends sister and the sister is looking at you like that.

Why are they staring? Perhaps they think you are very attractive. But if they can't come up with the courage to approach you and try to become friends, it is a little unnerving.
If a woman stares at me in that situation, and I have the time and interest, it is my responsibility to attempt to be a little friendly. When guys stare at me, a man, I take it as a sign of hostility.
Now about the one's who stare because they dislike me, or are jealous, there really isn't much to do, because if I validate their dislike, I will get more negative attention from them. I would wait for a less tense time to talk with them in a social manner.

Sometimes it is uncomfortable. There is a guy who works in the grocery store and I used to catch him watching me all of the time. Now he talks to me and walks me through the store while I shop. He is a hot guy and I know that he is a fireman also. He asked me out but I am in a relationship.

If it's a sane looking person, I just say "Hey" and strike up a conversation.
If it's a creepy person I usually bark at them. Grrrrr....

Depends on who's staring, if it's a weirdo, then yes, if it's a hot guy, he can stare his life away.

sometimes, but not as much as it used to.
in the lifestyle i'm in people tend to stare a lot and you get used to it.
