Where do I begin? I just finished Keith R. A. DeCandido's latest Star Trek: I.K.S. Gorkon novel "Enemy Territory" last night. Now I've started on H.G. Wells' "When the Sleeper Wakes" and I've got an ongoing appointment with the Holy Bible every day. You'd think all these frequent reader miles at my library would get me some kind of discount! lol

I'm also working on writing my third novel to be published by AuthorHouse in (projected) spring 2008. My first two, "Progeny" and "Legacy", open a trilogy about super humans in a near-future world. It's a LOT harder to write a book than read it, I tell you. But reading's where I get some of my best inspiration.

Have a terrific day, and enjoy the books you're reading!

Let's see. I read three books during the weekend: Doppleganger by Marie Brennan, Touch the Dark by Karen Chance, and The Memory Keeper's Daughter by Kim Edwards. The Memory Keepers Daughter is a 5 star read -- excellent; moving and bittersweet.
I am now just starting Mystic River by Dennis Lehane. And I plan on getting back to the bookstore and getting more to read in prep for the weekend.

I try to read one fiction book and one non-fiction book every 2 or so weeks. (Why does this sound like it's from a movie?)

Anyway, right now I'm reading Breeding Between the Lines by Alon Ziv and Veronika Decides to Die by Paulo Coelho.
