You didn't say what relay, but it's basally the same. Start at the relay. No power. Trace back to the primary connection. Check for power. If there, the wire is bad and needs to be replaced. If not, trace back to the fuse. Fuse good? If not, replace. If good, is there power? If not look for a bad connection on the primary connection point.

I HATE WHEN THAT HAPPENS
THE WAY THAT MOST SYSTEMS WORK IS THERE IS POWER FROM THE BATTERY OU TP THE DASH SWITCH WHERE IT SITS IDLE UNTIL THE SWITCH IS THROWN
THUS COMPLETEING THE CIRCUIT AND SENDING POWER TO THE RELAY
UNFORTUNATELY YOU WILL NEED TO CHECK THE CIRCUIT GOING TO THE SWITCH AS WELL AS THE SWITCH ITSELF, NEITHER ONE OF WHICH IS A PLEASANT TASK
YOU WILL NEET TO GAIN ACCESS TO THE SWITCH ...I.E. REMOVE THE CONTROL PANEL FROM THE DASH
