It's a ratings ploy. Survivor is a dumb show.

I heard one of the "creators" of the show on the radio this morning. He said one of the ways this all came about was because of people saying too many white people on the show. He said at first they'll be divided, have to vote one of their own group members off & then will be mixed up into multi-race groups as usual. He also reminded everyone that the competition is about individuals in the end, this is not a group competition, there's only one winner.

I think the show is lame to start with. The fact that they have so many people talking about it has boosted the ratings which was the whole point to start with. When I want "reality TV" I watch the history Chanel. Real life is all the reality I need.

There's never enough of any race, that's why they are splitting them up by different race's I think. And Yes I think and I hope it will be the last show they will ever have and I hope it will end the show's career.

This is the first season where all the white people can conceivably be voted off by the middle of the season. What is there to be upset about?

I think it's a great idea and can't wait to watch the show. I think the results will be an interesting study in the human psyche.

I think it's totally lame. And people wonder why we still have race tensions. Why can't we just throw race out the window and view each other as human beings.

I haven't ever really watched Survivor, but I find this interesting. I will watch this series. Some social experiment wouldn't you say?

I only watched the first two season,s and then it got unwatchable for me. The ratings must be sliding and they are trying to attract attention good bad or otherwise.
