waste material from lungs is carbon dioxide gas. from the 'waste' it's nitrogenous wastes and from the sweat it's urea, bit of uric acid and other nitrogenous wastes in very small amounts. lime water detects the presence of carbon dioxide because carbon dioxide on reacting with it forms calcium carbonate which is a white precipitate and therefore is visible.
