Me and my fiance have been trying to get preg, we started in aug 8th this year...so far tests came back neg, no period, as of the 11th. I took one on the 11th it was neg and took one a week b4 that it was neg. I used EPT. How soon should i retest? which brand is best? and i heard something on here about sense of smell being on a clue, well I have been going thru the whole smell thing for the last two days and nausea...advice any1?

Relax, it is possible to trick your mind into believing you're pregnant. You will start to have symptoms, and you may even delay or miss your period all together. Are you late for your period? If not, just wait till you miss it. Pregnancy tests test for the HCG hormone excreted in the urine. It is a hormone produced during pregnancy, but even with the early tests the levels are sometimes too low to detect early. Ovulation occurs approximately 14 days before you should start your period. You might notice that there is a mucous discharge. When the mucous is thin and stretchy like egg whites, you are ovulating. That is the best time to get pregnant.

Well there are always psicological pregnancies
where you feel all the symptoms of being preg. but You really aren't. But then again they told me that same thing i'm telling you 12 months ago And now I have a 2 month old,
I would re- test 1 week after.
if it comes neg again, go to a clinic and get a blood test.

When you test make sure you test first urine in the morning of course. If you have missed your period and the test comes back negetive I would suggest going to the doctors and getting tested by them. Let them know that you took a home preg. test and it says negetive but you missed your period. They may do a blood test. I would wait a week after you missed your period to test again.

either wait a week and then retest or go to the dollar store and buy the $1 cheap ones to save yourself money if you're too impatient. My hubby and I have been trying since the beginning of August too, statistically it takes the average couple a year to conceive once they stop using birth control. So just relax and enjoy the ride.

Call your doctor, the nurse at your clinic can run a simple 2 minute urine test and tell you for sure. Home tests are usually pretty acurate, but if you still don't have a period, I would check with your doctor. Good Luck.

The best test is done at the hospital; they test your urine or blood. It sounds like you might be already preg., but it's not 100%. I would wait two more days and test again. Good luck.

I Think you should probably go to the doctors and get a test done because you never know if something is wrong.

well with me ept was right for me i took five times in the same day and they all came back positive. but i would go see the doc no hurt in that then you can know for sure.

Well you can ussaully use any test on the first day of you're missed period. So figure out when u should get you're period and test

Sounds like you are stressing your self out too soon its SEPT...some people it takes a year of trying to have a child just relax...stressing yourself out is not going to help you any
