I am considering a tracfone and I like to leave my phone on in case of an emergency. Will I lose my minutes if I leave it on?

No. I leave my tracfone on at all times. The only way to lose minutes is to use them or let them expire. Also, if you let your minutes expire then you will also lose your phone number. Luckily, Tracfone will sent you a text message or call you and remind you to buy more minutes. Good Luck!!

No. Just like with most contract phones......you will only lose minutes if you dial out and someone answers or if you receive incoming calls.
