I think that the change in design will the first step. More ergonomy, lighter, smaller devices, always connected and with great battery life. Environment friendly will be essential. Faster planes, safer cars, smart houses and "intelligent" materials used in the construction of buildings. The Internet will be omnipresent and information will be always available.

I want to stay optimist and say that technology is going to get us more good than harm. The future is bright.

Within 20 years we will have human-level artificial intelligence. Within 50 years, we will have software human emulators!

Within 20 years, there will be a longevity treatment that will add 15 useful years onto a person's life. It will be very expensive. The price will go down, and by 50 years from now, most people in industrialized nations will be using, or will have used it.

It's impossible to tell - I mean no one could have imagined 50 years ago what it would be like now, could they?

I don't think it will be as advanced as we think it will be though - think of 2001: A Space Odyssey. That was made in 1968 and we're not that advanced!

major advanced computers around our homes, at work and around shops doing everthing for us in a split second as nanotechnology will be discovered creating clean energy and transport and other materials.

there will never be flying cars as every vehicle will need air traffic control like planes need to stop from crashing into each other. just cars drivin by non pollutive fuel.

bad thing is I think all muslim countries will have nuclear explosive techologies.

Really complicated and advanced. By then LCD and Plasma TV'S would be history and eventually because of all this I predict we will all die because of uncontrollable technology

a million)Flying automobiles 2)workers artwork from everywhere (a lot less site visitors contained in the morning and evening, large quick on the spot connections enable that). 3)pleasant "wise" robots as your assistants, they chat with you, coach you (few issues), pleasant with the elderly (as companions and helpers).

Im thinking it'll be more on the side of i robot, minority report, or star trek, basically it'll be way more fun than now, specially videogames.

Floating Cars. They are the future, they have always been in images of the future so when they get here we'll know it really is THE FUTURE. No wait, that's wrong.

probably integrated computer chips in your head, computers will run on nano tech or laser light.

Doesn't really matter though, I'll probably be dead by then, or at least in a home for the deranged

i think there will be a lot of bluetooth involved and if you want to go on holiday you wont bacause most of the oil supplies will have run out
