I need well documented and substantiated information on online education. Is it a trend? Will it last?
Anything would help, thank you very much in advance.

I have never done any research or anythign on the subject but as a stay home mom have taken several courses online. I don't believe it is a trend, I believe more and more places are accepting and even appreciating degrees from online schools. It will never completly replace being in that classroom but for people who work and have families, whatever the situation its just almost mind boggling we can still fit education in there without sacrificing everything. Another thing is we are military and are constantly moving, husband is deploying, but with online schools we can still continue we don't have to stop and change schools and go through the transfers and applications and the stress that goes along with it. And I don't know about you but for me it is just AMAZING to think my husband can be in a war zone and still be working on his degree on his down time. We don't have to give our lives up to better them. Although I will say that for me the thought of getting an entire bachelors degree in 15 months or whatever they say thats just wrong! and that the classes that are in direct relation to what it is you want to be need to be taken in class! somethings you need to be there to do hands on but taking generals online is ok.
