you can listen to the total pop crap that appears above you or go out on a limb and listen to what you want to hear. Good rock that is not pop crap: Thin Lizzy, the Stranglers,Pansy Division, Steve Earle, the Damned,The Dwarves,GWAR,arrowsmith,Ted Nugent,Henry Rollins Band,Twisted Sister,The Mexicans.

Well Led Zeppelin is the best one ever. Deep Purple is awsome. Rainbow is another good one.
