We started the year with 15 teams. Team 15 received a bye. Now we have another team that is dropping out. Because of some question of the number of teams that we would have, we have not issued a schedule yet. With another team dropping out, I believe that we can just adjust our league schedule to 14 teams and go ahead. A problem is with the team that was supposed to bowl the team that droppped out. Neither team showed. Should points be awarded to the team that is still on our league? Should no points be awarded to that team? We have no league rules to cover this. Please advise and happy bowling :) !!

They should have showed if they wanted the points. In my opinion they forfeited by not showing. No points.

You're OK with the 14 team schedule. As far as the team that didn't show...if they already knew that their opponents dropped out, then there would have been no reason for them to show up anyway, right? They would have had no opponent. Give them the points, figure out your 14-team schedule, and you're back on track.

Hope this helped.

YOU COULD MAKE THE TEAM THAT NO SHOW TAKE THE PLACE OF THE TEAM THAT DROPPED OUT... NO POINTS OR LET THE TWO TEAMS REBOWL FOR POINTS...
