Ever read or seen the movie Carrie by Steven King. It was written before the main school shootings going today. It's the same principal. Treat someone like crap and evidently the person treated like crap strikes back. I find it ironic how that book and movie were made and years later a real tradigy happens where real people die. It's really freaky to think about. Anyway the reasson the kids have shot people was they were treated like crap by everyone else. That's just what I've heard about the Collumbine shooters. Like Carrie they killed themselves in the end.
P.S. I'd like to add most kids end up commiting suscide or possibly running away Depressing huh.

I don't know what's going on either. I don't think anyone does. I'm Canadian, grew up close to Montreal, and I couldn't believe it when I heard it on the news this evening. I don't know if it was a student though. There has been a history of unrest between the French and English in Quebec. The details I heard were sketchy, but from what I understand it took place in an English speaking school. There are lots of people in Quebec who believe it should be completely French, no English whatsoever. People also want to separate from Canada and become independant. I think maybe it was a political shooting...Whatever it was its made me really sad. I always had that smug belief that Canadians were always the Peacenik type. No war, guns, violence...If that changes.....I don't know...

yeah I'm from the USA and graduated H.S. just in time (thank god) to escape all the teens going insane and shooting eachother though after it happened I was in college and still pretty nervous. Anyway, basically these kids are living the dream of every loser that ever got picked on and shooting up thier classmates that have tortured them. It's not right, I'm not saying that at all. These kids today (I'm saying this at 29 lol) are all screwed in the head thanks to how shi**y society has become. It's a rough world for teenagers today and it's just how things are now. It's only going to get worse and there is nothing we can do about it. I feel bad for them cause growing up in the late 80's - 90's rocked now a days it sucks.

It isn't so much the nature of the perceived politicosocial class divisions in high schools that warp the minds of these people, drive them to the level of violence they see every day in video games.

The real reason why these boys go berserk with weapons can be seen in their faces when the police finally manage to extract their bodies from the ruins after they've turned the guns on themselves.

It's the irritating smug smiles they have, that will haunt society forever; the smug grins that say "We will have names, and be on all the headline news. Our victims won't be remembered - only the school, and our names and faces.

"We've beaten all our peers at school. We're famous now, out of all of these kids. Forget their ambitions. We're the ones who will be famous forever, and there's not a damned thing you can do about it."

This is what you get in a world ruled by a psychotic media which considers mass marketing of celeb worship and cheap reality TV its highest form of artistic expression.

Those people are crazy! They feel hated or have major anger problems. They also feel a need for attention. It's usually the "nerdy, non-popular" kids that do this. They've been bullied by the popular kids and feel that killing them is the best solution. High school and junior high really sucks. Parents also need to keep their guns locked up better, so their kids have to chance of getting them.

No they didn't in the U.S. and they never will. These kids that do this are ones that are outcasts, they don't feel accepted, therefore they are depressed. And when these people get really depressed they think the only way to solve their problems and to get attention is to do something radical which turns out to be very violent. It is inevitable, it will always happen.

Id say in their minds its probably something like, MURDER MURDER MURDER KILL KILL KILL. It could have something to do with the amount of information overload and stress that we in this modern society deal with, coupled with a mental disorder.
