oh hunny, been there.

my mom put me on birth control over my periods, and it really has improved things. midol never helped me and it took 4 or 5 advil to improve things. birth control slowed down the flow, it controls how long you have you period, and the cramps have eased off a whole whole lot!

Tyelnol menustral pain meds helps me a lot.. midol sucks! Take a hot bath and relax. Just chill and watch tv. If the pain worsens call a dr and been seen. Feel better soon!

Lay with your head down and your feet up, as though you were laying on a seesaw (make sure your feet are at the highest level and your head at the lowest). There used to be a patch you could use too, like a heating pad that is slim and tapes over your lower abdomen.

Midol a little stretching/ exercise. My grandma use to say if you dont wear socks during your cycle and walk barefoot or let your feet get cold you will have more cramps. Try putting on some thick socks!

A few months ago, I had to take a GOODY (for Body Pain).
It may work for you...but, I caution anybody against taking a whole packet at one time.
It took my pain away immediately, but I didn't feel like my usual self until about 2 days later...'cause they make you SLEEEEEPY!
WOW!

Try taking Excedrin. It is a good all-around painkiller. Midol, Advil, and other ibuprofen-based medications don't work.
