I was in chargerd of the funds for the league and I was told if I turned over the boooks that nothing will be done. The police were called for charges to be filed against me. What should I do?

Turn over the books. Make sure you get something in writing that you won't be charged.

make sure you have documentation for EVERY transaction that occured with the leagues money while you were in the position to maintain the funds.
