You are probably just having a heavy period. If you are not known for having heavy periods, you should see your doctor. If you know that you are pregnant already, it might be a miscarriage, but I would suggest seeing a OBGYN to make some conclusions. Usually a miscarriage will lead to more bleeding, beyond you usual period, and you might have expelled a pink lump of cells with it. That is the fetus.

Have you taken a home PG test? And was it positive? If it was and you are bleeding thru a tampon in the time period you've stated you're probably having a miscarriage. If you did take a test and it was negative, you are most likely having a heavy period, and you can experience all of these symptoms while having your period...what fun it is to be a woman!

Signs of a miscarriage are: severe, stabbing pains in the lower abdomen, loss of pregnancy symptoms, tight-vice-like grip across the lower back in the region of the kidneys, heavy bright red bleeding, passing clots or pinkish/grey tissue. And you should be aware that if your bleeding become heavy, such that you bleed thru a pad or a tampon in less than an hour, you should get to an ER or a doctor ASAP, so you can be treated for hemorrhaging. And if you pass any tissue save it because your doctor will want to examine it to see if it fetal tissue.

At any rate, you should at least call your OBGYNs office and talk with the nurse, and explain all of your symptoms and do exactly as they instruct. Good luck.

it's called PMS, darling, and you can feel all these things when your period starts. If you are bleeding, you most likely are NOT pregnant.
