Well, you need to consider asking for a raise or getting a second job and/or cutting out some of the expenses that you don't absolutely have to have. Like cable television, you don't really need it, so you could cut it out, or lower your package plan. Do you have a cell phone and a land line? Consider getting rid of one of those. Do you eat out a lot? Consider packing your own lunch for work and buying foods that are quick and easy to prepare at home for when you don't have much time and you feel the need to eat out.

Of course, if you are in debt with credit cards and cant seem to even touch your balance, perhaps you should talk to a bank or financial advisor about getting a loan to clear out all your credit card balances and you will most likely be able to get a lower interest rate and if you have a lot of debt, you will be surprised how much that can save you. There are lots more tips you can find online, just use your head; you know what you need and don't need. And if you still cant seem to get it under control, maybe you will have to take another job, or you could possibly get some government assistance.

Cut up the Credit Cards, Cancel them, STOP eating Out, do NOT spend money at the theater, etc etc etc -- That is how to fix your finances in the long run.

Example: Going to the movie for Myself, and two teenage children cost approx $60+ each time -- between the snacks, the admission, the fuel to get there, and everything else -- WAIT! If you pay attention to the reviews, know what your tastes are in movies -- then in 6 months after release in the Theater -- those movies hit the stores -- usually at only $14 and you can get a couple and STILL Be 50% better in the savings area! Same with Bringing your own lunch. For the price of one sub sandwich for lunch -- go to the Deli Counter -- get your meat/cheese/lettuce and bread for the week -- and MAKE them at home as soon as you get home for the next day. I can assure you that this one exchange meant over 75% difference in expenses for Lunchtime or Workday right there.

OK - pop along to www.fool.co.uk and have a look at the discussion board "Dealing with Debt" - there is a US version but you have to pay.

There you can post about your difficulties and seek advice. The first piece of which is going to be to make yourself a statement of affairs - a list of what you have coming in and going out every week or month. There's a template you can use. You also have to list your debts, the minimum payment you have to make and the interest rate.

Then people can explain how you can save money going out and bring more in.

In your circumstances, the only options (apart from bankruptcy) are spend less or earn more or both.

I'm assuming that you don't own a house and you are single. Stop going out to dinner and make it yourself. Brown-bag your lunches and breakfasts. No going to bars. Write down every penny you spend for the next 3 months. Analyze where your money is going.
If you received a large federal tax refund (greater than $2000), increase the number of exemptions in your paycheck by 1 or 2 changing your W-2 form. This will give you more money in your paycheck.

It's a matter of living within your means. You are going to have to give up some luxuries to reduce your living expense. Maybe shut off the cable, get a roommate and get a job at weekends. I know it sucks and you don't even know how you got in this situation, but the truth is you cant create something from nothing and there is no easy way out. Work hard and hang in there, you'll come out all right it will just take time.

Make your scientific appointment. in case you have a scientific situation that needs interest, get it finished. the attitude your husband has is previous 18 th century thinking and is supremely ignorant. The is not any supernatural ability who listens to each and each individual's own prayer requests and fixes their situation. His fact is open ended and in case you took his propose, he might continuously be precise. How stupid to have such ideals.

1) ABSOLUTELY no wastefully spending.
2) prioritize your bills.
3)Shop for generic stuff. It's the same stuff as name brand .
4)RESCHEDULE debts with smaller payments. As long as you pay something to creditors, they will usually work with you.
5)Eliminate all but one credit card and use it ONLY for life or death emergencies.
If none of this helps, go to a reputable debt consolidation company.

The only thing I could think of is to call one of those non-profit places that could help lower your monthly payments. My husband and I did and things are getting better.
