ok, it doesn't matter what the reason you're not together is. i was just wonderin' if anyone is feeling this way, it doesn't matter how long ago it happened.

(and yes, other people can make you happy but i'm talkin' about the person you were in love with and loved most.)

thanks

Yes & no. John was the one for me...& I still feel that way. But, he went the other way so I am seeing someone, but I won't marry him or go further than a certain point because no one can replace John in my mind...or heart.

I am from the corner in Philly.
We used to say "Lovers are like busses, there will always be another one along'.
I am glad I had that attitude when I was young, because I had some relationships that were quite hurtful when we broke up.
After all that, I am married to a woman right now that I can honestly say that I do not know what I would do without her.
I am going to use one of the worse swear words that I use these days.
sometimes she pisses me off to no end, but I love her so much that I just get over it, and I am glad that I am with her.
Okay, and I thank God for her.

Two years ago I lost the one person I ever loved. I grew up on the street so I never trusted anybody. That all changed when I met this woman who was so kind and beautiful that it saved my life. We lived together and I thought I would be happy forever. But a silly argument destroyed my life and I have spent every day since then missing her and wondering what happened to my dream.

I am a widower, and I am 33 yrs old. It has been 3 yrs since she past on. I haven't forgotten her, and I do miss her from time to time., but I am still alive, and I still want things out of life. I want to share my life with someone, so I have to move on. That is exactly what I did. It doesn't mean that I don't care about her, I am at peace with what happened. From the sounds of it you haven't made that move to move on. I can't live in the past, and no one will be around to dwell there with me. Moving on emotionally is the best advice I can give you. Take you time though, there is no set time limit.
