It's unlikely your tests have been mixed up with someone else's. I'm not saying that never happens, but it's rare.

Try to wean yourself off the cigarettes now as best you can. Even if you're not pregnant now, you could be somewhere down the line, and why jeopardize your health and your future child's? (I know it's hard to quit smoking, I did it in 1992. The first two weeks SUCK.)

Good luck!

It's more likely to have a false negative urine test than a false positive - even a faint positive. The best thing to do is wait for the results of the blood test.

If you are ttc, it's best to try to quit smoking before you become pregnant. I don't know if it would help conceive, but it certainly can't hurt.

BTW - didn't your OB tell you not to ttc after your miscarriage until you had a period? I had a miscarriage and my OB had me take birth control pills for one month following my miscarriage. You are also more likely to get pregnant the first month going off the pill.

If you want to have a baby smoking needs to stop because it is a fact it interferes with getting pregnant to begin with if not then continue to smoke until you die OK cleared that up. Now I don't tell everybody my secret but this is the truth and a fact I tested it on a relative and she like I got pregnant quick as she did it and had been trying for well over ten years no joke after sex stick your legs up in the air! lol I'm serious it works and I don't care who says it doesn't. Now go to a differnet doctor nobody is perfect not even doctor's my daughter said so and she's a nurse( RN) to be exact! Good Luck anything is possible remember that!

You should probably stop smoking anyway. You might have a difficult time stopping and it's better to start sooner than later.

I am sorry to hear you are having so many problems, hopefully you'll get the results of the blood test back soon and know what's going on.

It's great your thinking of quitting smoking. It's not going to be good for you or the baby (if you happen to have one right now or in the near future!) Your baby has the chance of dying from second hand smoking or worse. I'd go and quit right now! I hope that this helps, your health is very important!

cold turkey. that's how I did It . Its all how you look at it , you would never let another person control you the way cigarettes do. Take back the power view them as a controlling spouse and tell them to get lost !!
