I don't know who said this, but it goes something like:
"A (best) friend is someone that knows all your faults and loves you anyway."
He/she must be steadfast, reliable, trustworthy, discrete and forgiving.

You need define that for yourself. I would say a person who is there for me know matter what. Always someone who will listen to my bads and help me when I am down. A best friend cares about your happiness and will never back stab you. Feel free to use these ideas when finding your own definition.

A best friend can't be defined because there is differant qualities we want in a best friend you might want and honest person and i might want a funny person. The only definition of best friend is the one you make yourself no one else will be able to tell you!

the person who you can rely on for anything who always has your back not the one bailing you out of jail the one sitting next to you in the cell a person you never always unexpected but always welcome to come and stay if need be a person that if you go through your photo album you would swear they were family cause they are in all the pictures someone that understands you and no matter how much they disagree with a choice you made always has your back thats a best friend

I personally, dont believe in best freinds. But if I had to define one, it would be someone that gives and takes. Someone I could talk to about everything and everyone. Someone I could feel confortable around, wheather I am sad or happy or feeling the blues. Someone that would be happy for me and not jealous. And that wont take advantage of you

I think a Best Friend is someone who is always there for you when ever you need that person..No matter what Gives you the best advise and keeps you out of trouble. Encourages you to do more than what you are capable of doing and gives you that extra support that you need when you think you cant accomplish something.That's what i think is a best friend....

someone who u trust and trustes u also some who shares ur interests and believes in u and wat u reach for and u do the same for him/her,some one who's always got ur back no matter wat,some one who won't neglect u jus because of a fault or sickness,past orfailure but will reassure u that things will be better,someone u cud say anything to without being offended.a person who accepts you for you basicallyand you accepts him/her for who they are also.
