IL TORO ITALIANO: don't call me a "stupid idiot." i didn't make these rankings. just cos italy's not number 2 anymore don't take it out on me.
plus i just wanted to know what people think about the new rankings. france, italy. i don't care who's higher than the other. i just thought it was ironic how they won 4 WC but got brought down

that looks about right it was almost like that after the World Cup 06. i just couldn't believe that team U.S.A was ranked 5th before the WC and they didn't deserve it at all not because of there performance at the WC, but because they don't play top team in the world to be able to be ranked that high. playing in the CONCACAF against teams that are ranked well above the 80's in the world shouldn't make you be ranked 5th in the world expetia;y if team U.S.A played teams like Argentina, Brazil, Germany, England, Italy and France to try and qualify, but if it was that case they wouldn't even make the WC.

The rankings are a joke, although these ones are probably better than previous charts that have been thrown up.
Before the World Cup the USA was ranked higher than England, which as the tournament itself showed, was misleading.
Problem is there is no easy way of making a fair comparison. For example, European nations generally play other high ranking European nations, whereas let's say Australia...they play the likes of Tuvalu and thump them 30-nil!

Italy was ranked 13th at the start of the WC and the Czechs were #2, how'd that work out for them

these rankings make no sense to me...they always have some team in a position they don't deserve to be i.e. Nigeria Cameroon, Uruguay, Denmark, Colombia all of which missed the world cup.....at least Mexico and the US are not in the top 10 anymore because frankly whoever made that raking must've been smoking the good stuff at the time

Well, I won't really take this seriously cause they ranked England higher than Germany...wtf?
and Portugal higher than Spain.
Oh and can someone tell me how Cameroon got up there, and is therefore better than Ukraine.
i know that Ukraine's not the best but c'mon.

I agree w/ Brasil but not France and Italy France two lower and Italy like 3. Cameroun at least 10 man. the rest is just whatever. justlikesugar we SHOULD be at LEAST ten we should be higher then Spain n Portugal. but we all know FIFA is corrupt so whatever. besides it's an opion anywho. so technically no one's better then anyone else.

finally the fair fifa ranking is out every one deserves the place he got except may be germany and portugal should have been higher specially portugal because what do you call a country which for 40 years never reached the semi-final and suddenly they do reach and take 4th place!!!!!!oh one minute and WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CZECH SHOULDNT BE IN THE TOP 10 AT ALL...PORTUGAL SHOULD TAKE ITS PLACE.
oh and wait..WHAT THE HECK IS DENMARK DOING THERE oh and i didnt know colombia had a team in the first place..
