Christians you would call anti-liberal were also the most anti-slavery.I think slavery would have ended without war but would have taken a much longer time, with or without liberals and for other reasons as well. Just be thankful it did stop.

It was Democrats that fought against it as they fought against the Civil Rights laws under LBJ. It was Republicans that pushed it through in Lincoln's time and in LBJ's time. Makes you wonder why they vote so overwhelming for Dems doesn't it. I guess this is why the liberals keep embracing a failed public school system, stupid is as stupid does.
