My garage door is painted, pressed wood with a wood grain surface. It actually feels like a raised grain. What product or color choice should I use to make this surface look like a varnished, real wood surface?

Find some type of dark antique paint. Maybe a walnut or mahagony. Water it down a bit so it's looks like coffee. Paint a small section of your garage so it soaks into the grain of the wood and wipe off or rub off the excess. Repeat process until all the door is uniformly covered. Then seal with a clear/weatherproof varnish.
