If the restaurants have a web site, you can sometimes get a free appetizer when you sign up for their newslett. (I know Texas Roadhouse does this)

Also, look into buying an Entertainment Book (the 2007 books just came out and are good until Nov. 2007, if you look around you might be able to find one from 2006 that is cheap and is good until Nov. 2006)

I have seen Friday's coupons in newspapers but never Joes or PF Chang. Try the charity coupon books, they might have them.

At PF Chang it's from the manager when you have a problem with either your meal or your service. Not a great thing, as I would much rather have a good meal and good service!!
We did receive one, but it will take awhile to get me back, free or not!!

First, you can call the restaurant and ask the restaurant manager.

Second, do a search on Google/Yahoo for those restaurants for coupons from websites.

Third, sometimes these restaurants send stuff in the mail.

You don't. You step to the manager and tell them that you are "Celebrating Tonight". You tell them that you are on a budget but want to impress your companion. You would be surprised at the "hook-up" you would get.

BTW- Restaurants that hooked me up this way saw more business from my friends and I ten times over what they gave me that night , just for treating me special.
