How come when lots of black male celebrities get famous, they automatically go for white, Asian, or biracial women? Wesley Snipes, Ice T, Charles Barkley, Dave Chappelle, Kobe Bryant, Taye Diggs....I mean....I'm not against interracial marriages, but it seems that we as black men have a certain belief of light-skinned as "success." Any takers?

Yes, this is true. For most Black men that are suscessful White is the thing to go for. I don't know why, really, I have asked my son why he doesn't like Blacks or Puerto Rican women he cannot, ever give me a straight answer, and my son is bi-racial.

I do not understand why celebrities do that... Not all Denzel Washingtons wife is dark skin, Magic Johnson wife is also dark skin.
To me the men that do that have a complex problem because it is stupid to be with someone that is not black because they feel that light skin or white is better.

I am not prejudice either, but some folks feel that by being in a different tax bracket they should go all in...in their minds they feel that other races of female are "better" than A/A females. I think that is wrong. But, if you "truly" fall in love with someone not of your race ten, so be it. But don't just track down other races just because.

You forgot to mention Bill Cosby's penchant for light -skinned women.
And...why is Hally Berry considered more beautiful than Angela Bassett? Hally is one of the prettiest women I have ever seen, but why is she a hero to the blacks when she looks more caucasian than she looks black?

I've seen black women with white men too, haven't you? I don't think it has to do with race or success, it is just who they happened to fall in love with.

Because white women know how to treat black men. Maybe they are just tired of black women they have such loud a!! mouths!
Or maybe they like a little cream in their coffee!White women are also more successful than the average black woman.
