Sometimes when you are around that age your hormones are changing around, quite a lot of my friends found that their periods started to get sometime-ish , sometimes closer together and sometimes further apart, kind of like when you first start.
But I would recommend a checkup with your doctor, because you are pretty young, and it's good just to find out if it is anything else.

Uterine fibroids are usually not dangerous, but can cause immense discomfort and lead to complications like anemia from heavy blood loss. In rare cases, they may cause complications that affect pregnancy.

In cases where there are no symptoms, treatment may not be necessary. However, proper diagnosis and treatment may be required if your symptoms are severe or causing complications. Along with conventional treatment, you can try some natural home remedies. Read here https://tr.im/xInGP

Some women go through menopause early, and some have problems that have bleeding. I have several friends in their thirties and forties that have had to have hysterectomies and it started that way. Not trying to scare you...but you need to go see a doctor and have it checked out.
