Listening to an old CD on the way home and on a track i heard the line
"did you read about a frog who wanted to become a king, then became one"... (Neil Diamond)
the song is good but that line is one of the worst i've heard. So the question is, What is the worst line you have heard in a song and who is it by?

Most songwriters have a few bad instances in their songs where time or attention was lacking, but no one is a consistantly as bad as "The Boss"

From Rosalita:
Jack the Rabbit and Weak Knees Willie you know they're gonna be there
Ah sloppy Sue and Big Bones Billie they'll be comin' up for air
We're gonna play some pool, skip some school, act real cool
Stay out all night it's gonna feel alright
So Rosie come out tonight, Oh baby come out tonight
Windows are for cheaters, chimneys for the poor
Oh closets are for hangers, winners use the door
So use it Rosie, that's what its there for

I think it had something to do with being high in a hotel room too long.

In "Tell Laura I love her" there is the line "he was the youngest driver there" and that line doesn't rhyme as al the others do, but the worst is Bobby Goldsboro's "Honey" :
"She wrecked the car and she got sad
and so afraid that I'd be made
but what the heck..."
and both are those kinds of songs that get in your head and role round and round for hours!

"If a picture paints a thousand words, then why can't I paint you?"
From the old Bread song "If". That is about the corniest line I've ever heard. Sounds like a bad pick-up line I'd hear in a bar or something. Cringe everytime I hear it.
