I like sequels dont get me wrong ...when they dont get carried away or they dont pretty much ruin the first one..but we got to talking about it last night here at home..And for instance My son thinks shrek 2 is better and Jeepers Creepers and Scream 2 are better and he likes Final Destination 2 and 3 better than the first one...I only agree with Shrek 2 being better...Give me some more sequels that you think were better than the first

Loved Batman Returns better than the orignal Batman. If you consider Batman Begins a sequel, then that's better, too. Freddy's Dead: Final Nightmare, was the best of the first six Nightmare on Elm Street films, Toy Story 2, I like Legally Blond 2 better than the first 'cause it was mostly about animal rights, that's all that I can think of right now, but there's plenty out there.

Terminator 2, Shrek 2, Godfather Part 2, Star Wars the Empire Strikes Back which was 2nd but is officially number 5. There are loads and loads!

I won't mention all the movies others have already listed. One case of the original being much better than the sequel is Caddyshack. It was hilarious! Caddyshack 2 however just plain silly and not necessary. Jaws and Jaws 2 were pretty good, but they got carried away with 3&4.

Highlander 1 & 3 were good but 2 kinda sucked. Pirates of the Carribean 1 & 2 were both good. Also Pumpkin Head 1 & 2 were both really good.

The Jurassic Park movies, the 3rd one was the best, and stuff like Lord of the Rings, those aren't really sequels though, but still they got better as they went along.

One of my kids "go to" movies is Sister Act 2. I loved all of the first 3 Star Wars but wasn't thrilled with the last ones. I also have to agree with one of the previous people about the Indiana Jones movies.... I love Sean Connery.

Well, The sequel to Indiana Jones wasn't so Hot, but the third one, Last Crusade with Sean Connery was kick bottom.
