I am a guy who will be playing both a male and female role in a play. One scene involves a guy much taller than and physically stronger than me getting angry with me (in the female persona) and shouting and grabbing my arm, leading me to face someone I don't want to meet. I am trying to figure out how a girl would react in a situation like this (and feel inside). Would your instincts be to fight back, resist, or go along, or cry or something else? The script dictates somethings happen anyway, but this is just looking at subtle reactions that make it more believable or not that we can blend in.

Thanks

I am a stong headed woman. I would not allow a man to shout at me or put his hands on me without doing anything. I wouldn't just go along to say the least. I'd probably tell him he BETTER let go. If he didn't...he better watch out.

Honestly, that is me. There are so many personalities out there though. Some woman are too scared to stand up for themselves and would do nothing.

When my father yells at me I want to do three things:
Cry.
Kick him out of the my car.
Yell back.
Run away.
That is the only time a guy yells at me. Good luck with the acting.
Don't break a leg.

No, women will in all probability merely get somewhat stressful. If she thinks badly of you for understanding whilst to no longer combat, fairly once you're outdone contained in the burden and muscle branch, she's no longer worth it.

The last guy who grabbed my arm got a black eye. Sounds like a gang-rape attempt.

look at him as if he's turning into a giant blueberry like that girl in the willy wonka movie. then shake my head and laugh at him and walk away. maybe even throw in an eye roll. really thats what i normally do. i don't have time for drama queens.

depends on the guy. if i didnt trust him, i would probably look like i wanted to get my *** outta the vicinity. if i did know him, i would probably shrug his hand off me and snap at him about him being a jerk.
